Learning Objectives
At the completion of this activity learners will be able to:
1. Rapidly and effectively identify patients with hemodynamic instability
2. Apply best practices of cardiopulmonary resuscitation to deliver physiologically optimized goals.
3. Develop a clinical framework to rapidly deliver goal-directed care for unstable patients.
4. Perform the timely use of ultrasound at the bedside for hemodynamically unstable patients.
5. Consider the differences in the delivery of care with respect to specific patient populations such as the morbidly obese, the elderly, and patients with significant comorbidities.
